Aquila LILO Hydra – Poseidon 2 (Koruson) 400kV Line

Civil and electrical works, including commissioning, relating to the new MTS Aquila connection through Loop In and Loop Out to the existing Hydra Poseidon 400kV line. The scope also included 160km of OPGW stringing under a Procurement and Construct contract.

Alpha Beta 1 765kV Emergency Repair

Temporary and permanent restoration works. The temporary restoration included building a bypass from Line 1 to Line 2 at Beta Substation to connect to Bay 1. The permanent solution included replacing the collapsed structures with new 702B structures.

Ferrum Upington 1st 400kV Line Project – Section A

Line construction of Section A and associated works for 130km of the 400kV line, including a 400kV feeder bay at Ferrum Substation. The works include verification of designs, equipment procurement, construction management, and commissioning.

Perseus – Zeus 765kV Line Section B

Construction of a new 113km Section B single-circuit overhead transmission line between Tower 263 and Tower 526 near Virginia and Edenville in the Free State. The works form part of the overall 434km Perseus–Zeus 765kV transmission line and include standard 765kV lattice towers, six Tern ungreased conductors, and glass insulators.

Perseus – Zeus 765kV Line Section C

Construction of a new 108km Section C single-circuit overhead transmission line between Tower 526 in Edenville, Free State, and Tower 778 near Copperville in Gauteng. The works form part of the overall 434km Perseus–Zeus 765kV transmission line and include standard 765kV lattice towers, six Tern ungreased conductors, and glass insulators.

Drakensberg – Venus 400kV Line OPGW

Design, engineering, procurement, manufacture, supply, delivery, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of an approximately 91km OPGW link. The works include replacing existing earth wire, installing joint boxes, and associated civil and access works.
