In 2005, Transdeco served as the project’s primary contractor, while Mkhulu Electro Distribution Projects CC was entrusted with the construction of 69 towers from the 515, 518, 524, and 528 series. 42 kilometers of line had to be strung as part of the project.

The installation of 69 towers, denoted by the series numbers 515, 518, 524, and 528, was part of the project’s scope of work. These towers were built to support power transmission lines, guaranteeing uninterrupted electricity delivery across large distances.

The project also included the stringing of 42 kilometers of power transmission cables in addition to the tower installation. To guarantee that the lines were installed safely and in accordance with industry standards, this task required meticulous planning and implementation.

The Challenge :
