Mkhulu EDP is celebrating the successful completion of the 77-kilometer Kusile Lulamisa 400kV Transmission Line, which commenced around Bronkospruit and terminated in Tswane. The project saw employment of up to 500 at peak times, with all general workers moving from “local to site.”population.

A lot of local and site businesses also benefited from supplying goods and services to the project. Although the project had a few community challenges in the beginning, they were later resolved and settled, and a more amicable relationship with the community was maintained. Mkhulu EDP is proud to have completed a project without any fatalities or minimal other incidents.

There were no legal contraventions and no quality non-conformance reports issued against it. Memorable CSI projects were implemented as part of the execution of the project in support of the Mkhulu principle of leaving a footprint everywhere we go.
